Data deletion instructions
How to delete your account and personal data from Mangoe and ZappyBook, and how to disconnect linked services like Google, Meta and QuickBooks.

The fastest way: email info@mangoe.co from your account address with the subject “Delete my data”, and we’ll process your request and confirm when it’s done, at no charge.
1. Delete your account in-app
If you have a ZappyBook account, you can delete it yourself:
- Sign in to ZappyBook.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Select Delete account and confirm.
Deleting your account removes your profile and Customer Data from active systems. If you can’t access your account, just email us (below) and we’ll verify your identity and do it for you.
2. Request deletion by email
Email info@mangoe.co from the email address on your account and tell us what you’d like deleted (your whole account, or specific information). We may ask a question or two to verify it’s really you before we act.
- Acknowledgement: within a few business days.
- Completion: normally within 30 days, and sooner where we can.
- Cost: free.
3. Disconnecting linked services
To stop ZappyBook accessing your Google account or Calendar, disconnect the integration in ZappyBook, and/or remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. On disconnection we stop accessing Google data and delete what we no longer need.
Meta (Facebook/Instagram)
If you connected a Meta account and want the associated data deleted, email info@mangoe.co with “Meta data deletion” in the subject, or remove ZappyBook from your Facebook Business Integrations settings. We will delete data obtained through the Meta connection and confirm when complete.
QuickBooks
Disconnect ZappyBook from within the app, or from your Intuit account’s connected-apps settings. On disconnection we stop accessing your QuickBooks data and delete or de-identify stored QuickBooks data we no longer need.
4. If you’re a client of a business that uses ZappyBook
If a business booked you or stored your details using ZappyBook, that business controls your information. Please contact them directly to access or delete it. We act as their service provider and will assist them in actioning your request.
5. What we keep, and why
After deletion, residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for a short period before they’re overwritten on our normal cycle. We may also retain limited information where the law requires it (for example, transaction records for tax purposes) or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. We don’t use retained data for any other purpose.
